Make an appointment for a blood test if you have been asked to do so by your clinical team at the Hospital.

National Covid-19 guidance for Healthcare staff has changed. From Saturday 9 April you will no longer be able to access PCR swabbing from either of our sites if you are symptomatic or have had contact with someone who has tested positive and instead should take your own Lateral Flow Device test which you can order from the Government Portal. You will no longer be able to access a PCR following a positive LFT result. MTW staff should look at the updated Covid guidance available on the intranet.
For MTW staff only and only when asked to do so by Infection Control
If you have not been requested to use this by Infection Control your swab may not be processed.
This area is to be used to create the form to accompany outbreak swabs. This ensures you and your manager receive your results correctly and as quickly as possible.
There is no need to isolate when taking part in outbreak swabbing unless your result is returned as positive.
